Development Associate

We are seeking a driven Development Associate to support our acquisitions and development team. This role contributes to financial modeling, due diligence, and project coordination across our workforce housing and mixed-use pipeline.

Key responsibilities

  • Support acquisitions analysis, due diligence, and deal structuring
  • Build financial models and development pro formas for mixed-use projects
  • Prepare applications for public funding, including LIHTC, TIF, and Housing Trust Funds
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and municipal authorities
  • Support community engagement and stakeholder management
  • Assist with project timelines, budgets, and draw requests

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field
  • Two to four years of experience in real estate development or finance
  • Strong financial modeling skills and Excel proficiency
  • Familiarity with affordable housing funding stacks, including LIHTC and HUD, is preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills
